AP Statistics

AP Statistics is typically an elective for most students but also counts as a Math credit to satisfy the  four Math credit requirement if needed for graduation. It is not a required course for an IB diploma. However, AP Statistics is a very helpful course to complete before writing your IAs and EE since analysis is a critical component for those projects.

AP Statistics can be taken at any point after Algebra II, allowing the classes to be a wonderful mix of all grade level IB and non-IB students.  AP Statistics students know that Statistics is the most often required Math course for college majors across all disciplines. Students interested in medicine, engineering,  agricultural sciences, social sciences, business, math & sciences will need at least one Statistics course.
